Frequently Asked Questions - Answered

You want to get on with the business of getting elected, so we have put together a list of the top questions that we have been asked over the years, to help you make a swift informed and educated decision about what to buy to help make your election campaign a success and how best to buy it.

1. Ordering:

- How do I place an order? Placing an order is easy. Once you have selected your products, send us an email (from the "Contact Us" page) giving details of the quantity of each item required, and what you would like printed onto it.

- What is the cost of my order? The prices listed on each product page is the price you will be charged. There are NO set-up fees, NO origination fees, & No Delivery costs (surcharge may apply to remote areas and islands). VAT is also included.

- Are there any hidden or extra costs? Election Merchandise.eu does not have any hidden costs. What you see is what you pay. On occassion, your artwork requirements may incurr some additional costs (see details below). However, in all cases where extra charges are necessary you will be notified of these costs, before your order proceeds.

- What happens next? Once you place your order and provide your artwork details, we will send you an order confirmation along with an artwork layout. This shows approximately what you item will look like when printed. When you are satisfied with these, and have signed the documents, we will put your order into production.

- Can I see samples? Yes, you can request a sample. All are on display on our showrooms, or you can place a sample order, which can be delivered to you. When an order is placed following the receipt of a sample, 50% of the sample cost will be credited against your order. Samples are non-returnable.

- Will the sample have my details printed on it? No. It is not cost effective to print or brand a single item with your details. Whilst this is a service we can provide, it is costly and can impact on the overall lead time for your items. Most samples are delivered with examples of previous works done.

- Can I order larger or smaller quantities of items than those listed? Yes. In some cases the minimum order is as small as one piece. There is no maximum quantity order. If you wish to order a quantity different to those listed, please email us through the "Contact Us" page and we will reply to you as soon as possible with a quote.

2. Artwork:

- How do I send my logo / crest to you? Logos are best sent by email or on a disc. We can accept hard copies i.e. on printed paper, but there is a nominal charge (€15/£13.50) for scanning the logo to convert it into a useable file. Please also note, where a logo is not of suitable quality for print and we must redraw it, and additional charge of €30/£27 will be incurred.

- Will I see a proof before printing? Prior to production we will send you a "virtual sample" of your products. This is an onscreen layout that looks as close as possible to how your finished product will look.

- I don't have a design or layout for the products I want to order. Can you help? Yes. Where you do not have access to a graphic designer or have not been provided with useable graphics by your party, we are happy to arrange artwork and graphic layouts for you. Cost from €30/£27, with basic layouts being provided FREE.

3. Delivery:

- Will you deliver my order? Yes. This covers the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland and mainland UK. Islands and other remote areas, may incur additional charges.

- How long does it take to receive my order? Delivery times vary from just a few days to 4 weeks. The standard delivery time is stated on each product page. This time is calculated from when you APPROVE your order and artwork and NOT from when the order is placed.

- I need my products ASAP. Do you have an express delivery service? Yes. Where you need your item in a hurry, we can offer an "Express Service". Availability is dependant of production capacity. It may also incur an additional cost, the amount of which with vary according to how quickly the items are required.

4. Payment:

- How do I pay? Payment is accepted by cheque, bank transfer and credit card (subject to an additional charge).

- When do I pay? Payment is made at the time of placing your order. You will be sent a pro-forma invoice indicating the total amount due.

- Will I get a receipt? Yes. Upon clearance of payment, you will be sent a final VAT invoice. If you paid by credit card, your card receipt will be attached to the invoice.
